Pirates and Wenches Fantasy Weekend Presents the "Queen Anne's Revenge" Decorated Dinghy Flotilla and Beach Plunder Race -
Saturday August 11th.
There is a $5 registration fee for each boat.

Times (tentative)
10:00am-12:00pm: Registration and Check-In for Flotilla and/or Race
11:00 PM-2:00 PM - Cast Off Party at Harbor Shack - Live Music, Grub, Grog and Giveaways. Great spot for spectators to witness cast off!
12:00pm: Skippers Meeting at Harbor Shack for all participants - receive instructions
12:30pm: Flotilla begins at County Bulkhead - Decorated dinghies line-up. A decorated "flag ship" will lead the flotilla around the harbor and then out toward the beach (under power). An additional vessel will be used to tow any oar-powered vessels. Any boats not participating in the race will stay back at the starting area until after the race is finished.
1:00 - Race to the Beach
The fleet will proceed to a "starting area" a few hundred feet from the beach.
Engines will be shut down.
A sound signal for the race will indicate "Man your Oars!"
A second sound signal will indicate "Attack"!
The boats will race from the starting zone to a landing zone at the beach (under oar power).
Pirates will beach their dinghies, wade ashore, and show their number to the official "Beach Wench". Then, join the party!
12:30-4:00pm: Caribbean-Style Beach Plunder Party - Grub, Grog, Giveaways, Island Music and Contests. Bring a Beach Chair and enjoy the Fun!!!
Prizes will be given to the:
- Best Decorated Boat - Winner of the Gray Beard Cup
- Small Cash Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Dinghy Ashore
- Small Cash Prize 1st Kayak or Canoe Ashore
- Medals and Awards for Most Spirited, Scurviest Crew, and Most Marina Participation Eligibility Requirements and Rules:
Motorized dinghies must bear current registrations.
Number of passengers must not exceed the maximum capacity of the vessel.
All boats must have proper number of USCG approved PFD's and a whistle on board.
Boats must stay in line without passing during the flotilla
Safe speeds must be observed at all times.
You must be 18 years or older to register.
Costumes are strongly encouraged!Calling all spectators!
